What is FrontLook Data Backup Pro?

FrontLook Data Backup Pro is a self-serve automated backup program that encrypts, compresses and copies your selected data files to any FTP site. Unlike other "on-line" backup programs that require you to use their backup servers, FrontLook Data Backup Pro allows you to use your own FTP server, making this an ideal backup solution for your home, small office or enterprise. What are the System Requirements for FrontLook Data Backup Pro?

FrontLook Data Backup Pro requires a Windows NT, 2000, 2003 or XP computer. FrontLook Data Backup Pro will consume about 26 MB of disk space.

Can I backup to a CD-ROM/DVD or a locations on my hard drive?

FrontLook Data Backup Pro can only backup data to an FTP site. But you can setup an FTP server on most any system (except XP Home Edition) and then backup the data to the local ftp site. Then you can copy the data from the FTP folder to CD-ROM or DVD.

Suppose I don't have a FTP server available to me, where can I get one?

Most web site accounts have an FTP server capability included (contact your hoster for more info). If you don't have an FTP account, please consider saving your data on our servers. Contact us about our web hosting and FTP services.
