FrontLook Data Backup Pro is a self-serve FTP-based backup program for Windows NT, XP, 2000, 2003 and greater.

Backup to a remote FTP Server means your Data is Safe from disaster!
Instead of backing up to tape or CDROM, it uses available disk space on FTP servers, making it possible to backup your computer data to anywhere there is an Internet connection. Unlike other "on-line" backup programs that require you to use their backup servers, FrontLook Data Backup Pro allows you to use your own, making this an ideal backup solution for your home, small office or enterprise. FrontLook Data Backup Pro supports high level of data encryption, data compression, incremental and full backups and supports backing up to multiple FTP sites for additional security.

Data is compressed before it is copied to the FTP Server saving bandwidth and disk space!
FrontLook Data Backup Pro compresses and encrypts your files as they are sent to your FTP server, ensuring your data is always safe and compact. FrontLook Data Backup Pro uses LZSS compression to compress files resulting in a 2:1 average compression rate. Some files compress better than others. For example, many database file compress 18:1 where as JPEG files may not compress at all.

Data is encrypted to keep it Private!
FrontLook Data Backup Pro uses Blowfish encryption to encrypt your files. Blowfish encryption is a very secure, robust, and efficient encryption algorithm and is much faster than many other encryption algorithms including DES or IEDA. Blowfish encryption is used in over 150 software products, perhaps most notably, the Linux Kernel. Note: please carefully record your encryption password, if you lose it, we will not be able help you retrieve your data.

Service-Based backups mean you don’t have to remember to backup your data
FrontLook Data Backup Pro contains a flexible, full featured service-based scheduler. Being service-based means you do not have to be logged into your computer for a backup to run. This is a major advantage over other backup programs that require you to be logged on, leaving your computer exposed to potential unauthorized access while your computer is left unattended. Scheduled backup jobs run in the background and in most circumstances, you are not even aware that they are running. FrontLook Data Backup Pro automatically reconnects to the backup server on network interruption making reliable network backups a reality. It can also back up open files including Microsoft Access and Microsoft Outlook.

Restoring files is "self-serve-easy"
Files backed up using FrontLook Data Backup Pro can be restored with a click of a button. You can choose which files to restore and where you would like them restored to. Files can also be moved to removable storage elsewhere using our restore utility as a convenient way to make a permanent archive of your backed up data.

Additional features provides you control!
FrontLook Data Backup Pro supports features that provide you with control over the backup process. You control when and how often files are backed up, what types of files to exclude from the backup, file size limits, the number of backup copies to maintain and the age limit for files to be backed up.

Email Reporting gives you comfort!
Each time a scheduled backup is complete, you can setup the FrontLook Data Backup Pro to send you an email reporting the folders that were backed up, the number of files and the total spaced used in the backup folder.
