Step 5: Finishing Touches
Attach the DWT or DWTs to other pages in the Web
To attach the DWT to pages in the web, select one or more pages in the
"Folders List" using a control click operation. Then select the
"Format->Dynamic Web Templates->Attach Dynamic Web Template..." menu item.
Perform the same Region mapping operation in Step 3 and then press the "OK"
button to attach the DWT to the Pages.
Edit page specific editable regions
After the DWT is attached to the page or pages, you can bring up the page
and edit the editable region for page specific information. It is likely
that you will need to set the navigation structure and some text in any
common editable regions on a page by page basis. See the DWT specific
Read ME file for more info.
Scripting
You can also add back JavaScript and other script to the page. Please
your JavaScript in the "scripting" editable region in the <HEAD> tag
section. You can also place server-side script before the <HTML> tag as
well. If every page in the web requires an include file or common
script, you might consider putting the include statement or code in the
DWT.
