Step 4: Test the DWT by Attaching the DWT to a single page in the web

To attach the DWT to a page in the web, bring up a page in the Web.
Then select the "Format->Dynamic Web Templates->Attach Dynamic Web
Template..." menu item. The "Choose Editable Regions for Content" dialog
will appear.
Note: You can apply the
DWT to multiple pages in the web, by we strongly
recommend applying the DWT to a single page before applying to more than one
page because its difficult to undo a multi-page attachment. Once the template is
tested on a single page and the regions aligned properly, then it would be
prudent to attach it to the other pages in the Web.
Now select the only item in the Editable Regions List and
then press the Modify button. The "Choose Editable Region for Content"
dialog will appear.

Choose Editable Regions for Content dialog
Now align the "Body" with the "body1" region by selecting the
"body1" in the "New Region" popup menu. This will copy all the "Body"
information to the "body1" editable region when the DWT is attached. Press
the "OK" to make the region assignment.

Choose Editable Region for Content dialog
Press the "OK" to make the region assignment and then press
the "OK" button again to attach the DWT to the page. Now take a
look at the page with the attached DWT. If you would like to back up and
undo the attach operation to modify the DWT or map the regions differently,
just press Control-Z to undo the DWT attach. Then you can re-edit the DWT
and then reattach it again.
Note: A DWT Detach operation is not the same as undoing a
DWT Attach. When you detach a DWT, you abandon the editable regions and make
them inline code on the page. After a Detach operation, the page have no
editable regions that can be mapped to a new DWT.
