Lets
look at how easy it is to add a splash page to your
Microsoft FrontPage web and how you can set the Splash
page to be your default page on your web without messing
up your FrontPage navigation.

Sample Splash Page
Making a Splash Page
You can use any web page as a splash or entry page to your web site.
Once your splash page is ready, place it on your web site and give it a
name like "splash.htm".
Note: Do NOT Name
your splash page "index.htm" or "Default.htm" as these are special page
names in FrontPage for the home page of the web. You will learn later how
to make your splash page the default page on your web.
Trying to make the splash page into the index page of the web
may mess
up your navigation structure.
Adding a Redirection Timer to the Splash Page
If you would like to automatically redirect the user to your home page
after some pre-programmed delay, see the following how-to-tip on how to do this:

Make
your Splash Page the Default Page on your Web
Once you have your splash page setup on your web, you need to make it so
that the user is taken to the splash page by default. Once you have
published your web to your server, contact your web hoster and ask them
to make your new splash page the default page of your web.
If you are hosting your
own web, then bring up your web site Properties from the Internet
Information Services Manager and then add "splash.htm" to the top of the
Default Documents list as illustrated below:
