FRONTLOOK TIP OF THE MONTH
The FrontLook Series 3 Presentation Applet
is ideal for a compact photo presentation
or real estate walk-through. For the best
looking presentation, you want to make all
your images approximately the same size.
Our Tip of the Month, written by Teri
Carnright of ThemeSets.net, teaches you
how to resize an image in FP 2000 without
using an image editor and then insert the
image into the Presentation Applet. Check
out this useful procedure at:

FRONTLOOK QUICK TIPS
VIEWING APPLETS IN NETSCAPE 6 - If you
or your web site users are unable to
view the FrontLook Applets in Netscape
6.0, chances are the Java Run Time
Environment has not yet been installed.
In prior versions of Netscape, the Java
Virtual Machine (JVM) was included as
part of the browser software. To install
the JVM, simply bring up a page with an
applet on it and click on the applet’s
broken image (somewhat like a jigsaw
puzzle piece). A pop-up window will appear
and guide you through the download and
install process. Then restart Netscape
Navigator to view your applets in action.
DISABLE TEXT OVERLAY IN SERIES 2 IMAGE
APPLET - FrontLook Series 2’s Image Effects
Applet offers a myriad of cool image
effects, as well as displaying text over
the images. But suppose you want the
image effect but not the text overlay?
Simply replace the default text with a
space character and the text will be
disabled!
