Customize your Splash page with the FrontPage Text Tool

When adding a Page Effects Splash page to your web site, a little bit of text in the right place can make the page even more personal. In this tip we will explore the use of the FrontPage Pictures Bar Text Tool to customize a splash page image. Several examples will be presented.

Often there is a requirement to add trademark and copyright symbols to your component text or web page. The Character Map tool makes easy to insert special characters to any line of text. To bring up the Character Map window, select the Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools->Character Map menu. The Character Map windows will appear. Find the ©, ® or ™ symbol (I recommend using the Arial font), double click on the desired character and then press the "Copy" button. Now you can paste the character into most any text field.
