Page Effects Components
The Page Effects Panel allows you select the Page effect to
be inserted on the page.
Note: You can place multiple Page Effects on a single page, but the
responsiveness of the browser maybe affected.

Page Effects Panel
Effect - Click on this popup menu to select a
effect from the available effects. The Sampler will only contain one effect.
Description - After selecting an effect, a description of the effect
will appear in this area.
Animation Timeout slider - The time in minutes that the page effect
will run once started.
Sound button - Pressing this button will bring up the
Sound Files dialog. Select the sound to play while the effect is
running. Select the "No Audio" item to turn off all sounds. Select "Add File..."
to add a .au sound file to the list.
Loop Sound checkbox - Check the "Loop Sound" checkbox to play the
selected sound file over and over. If the "Loop Sound" checkbox is not
checked, the sound will only play once and then stop.
Install Page Resize Handler - check this to install a JavaScript
routine on the page that will change the boundaries for the effect when the
browser window is resized. The installation of this event handler may over
ride other page resize event handlers on the page.
Force update of support files - Checking this and then pressing the
OK button will force all files on the web to be updated from the master
"_frontlook" folder. Normally only new files are copied up to the web. You
may see a confirmation dialog appear when existing files are copied to the
web. You should say "Yes" to this confirmation dialog.
Preview - Common to all panels, brings up a preview window to view
the current Effect settings in a browser window.
OK - Submits the effect JavaScript/DHTML to the current web page and
supports files to the web.
Cancel - Cancels dialog and any changes that were made.
Help - Brings up this file.
Tool tip help - available for all the controls in the dialog. Place
the cursor over a control you would like to know more about, pause and a
help balloon will appear defining that element of the dialog box.
